Function Description
As part of Financial Planning & Analysis team, we create planning, forecasting & reporting solutions for the organization. Our core solutions are implemented on Planning Analytics, Cognos BI. We offer solutions to wide range of customers such as corporate planning, investment optimisation, risk finance teams.
Purpose of the Role
Responsibilities
Manage multiple financial processes including one or more elements of Reporting, Planning &Forecasting, Long Range Plan, Investment Optimization etc by leveraging IBM Cognos Planning Analytics platform and capabilities.
Assist in designing, building and implementation of new financial processes / enrichment or customization of existing processes by offering optimum solutions leveraging IBM Planning Analytics platform and capabilities.
Consistently improve current financial processes vide automation, enhanced controls etc by adopting best practices and new capabilities.
Contribute to the assessment and improvement of impact of all processes to the platform / server.
Consistently look for opportunities to drive value to customers by leveraging existing and new capabilities.
Independently handle customers and their expectations around multiple aspects including on-going support, enhancement, new solutions.
Training & Troubleshooting for both team members and business partners
Flexibility to work during 1:30 to 9:30 pm shift.
Critical Factors to Success
Business Outcomes:
Manage multiple financial processes spanning across multiple Business Units including one or more elements of Reporting, Planning & Forecasting, Long Range.
Plan, Investment Optimisation etc by leveraging IBM Planning Analytics platform and capabilities.
In capacity of an expert with proven credentials over a period of time, assist in End to end designing, building and implementation of new financial processes / enrichment or customisation of existing processes by offering optimum solutions leveraging IBM Cognos TM1 platform and capabilities.
End to end designing, building and implementation of cross functional projects of strategic importance.
Consistently improve current financial processes vide automation, enhanced controls etc by adopting best practices and new capabilities.
Contribute to the assessment and improvement of impact of all processes to the platform / server.
Consistently look for opportunities to drive value to customers by leveraging existing and new capabilities.
Manage a team of professionals including engagement, career pathing, goals, development plans, performance conversations.
Independently handle customers and their expectations around multiple aspects including on-going support, enhancement, new solutions.
Training & Troubleshooting for both team members and business partners

Past Experience
Academic Background
Technical Skills
Project experience, of designing, building, managing technology solutions on IBM Planning Analytics tools with emphasis on problem solving, data integrity and automation.
Strong hands on experience working on TI processes, rules & websheets.
Experience creating user interfaces on IBM Planning Analytics workspace. PAX working experience is good to have.
Experience and understanding of Financial Reporting, Planning & Forecasting is nice to have
Exhibits ability to think short and long term to identify and manage processes and resources
Exhibits ability at problem solving and has an eye to identify opportunities
Knowledge of Platforms
