Job description
Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Managing the timely preparation and presentation of statutory books of accounts, financial statements, and annual reports, ensuring conformance to regulatory accounting standards
Managing of outsourced shared services team in finance focusing on accuracy, speed and internal/external customer delight; as well as in-house finance team
Oversee all tax matters, drive tax planning, and ensure compliance to tax laws and regulations; including but not limited to ensuring timely filing of returns such as tds, gst, and income tax as per the relevant acts & interfacing with tax auditors and regulatory authorities
Manage cashflows and working capital of the business.
Lead the financial planning and budgeting exercise for the organisation
Ensure management reporting is continuously improved
Build a strong and efficient finance/accounting team to provide robust business support for current operations and future scale up
Work seamlessly with business/functional heads to constantly review and improve internal financial controls and operating controls
Build relationships with business/functional heads and assess their information needs to support business decision making
Work closely with the regional finance on special projects or continuous improvement process.
Job requirements:
Education/experience/skills/required qualifications:
A solid financial educational background as chartered accountant with minimum 10 years` related experience in leading the finance function for india, and experience from logistics industry will be added advantage
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate & coordinate complex issues with diverse levels of management and staff
Proven track record of adding value to the business through business partnering
Possess a high degree of analytical skills and can combine strategy with financial insights
Strong commercial acumen to understand and challenge business agenda
Self-driven with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic growth-mode environment
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Meticulous and attention to details and be a hands-on leader
Proficiency in microsoft office applications, with specific focus on ms excel
Knowledge of microsoft dynamic ax will be an added
