Job Description:
The Claims & Returns Analyst is responsible for working on Dealer Claims and Returns for multiple Cat parts facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Claims & Returns support for various service parts facilities / Logistics Centers located in US, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Works with Caterpillar Dealers to utilize existing web-based system / ERP for receiving information of Returns material.
Provides necessary assistance to dealers to work on problem resolution and process improvement.
Representing the service parts facilities as the Claims & Returns coordinator, responsible for contacting dealers on discrepancy and disposition issues.
Meet required levels of customer service / turnaround time, agreed upon with the parts facilities.
Analyzing of various data, generating reports & metrics.
Actively participate in all technical or functional discussions to establish an effective RCCA to prevent the re-occurrence.
Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies. Coordinating efforts with facility to ensure inventory counting completed and discrepancies are resolved.
Apart from core responsibilities, be flexible to support Inventory control processes whenever required.
BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have 4-year college degree.
3+ years of related experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Warehousing functions
Knowledge on Claims, Returns, Inventory Adjustment and Location Audit to ensure Inventory Control for the facilities.
Knowledge of return authorizations, material receipts and dispositions.
End user knowledge and exposure in SAP, IBM Mainframe and/or any ERP.
Experience with statistical analysis using MS Excel (Pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).•Effective oral and written communications skills required to collaborate with a wide variety of teams to achieve project deliverables
Ability to prioritize and multi-task various responsibilities.
