OpModel Risk Team is looking for an experienced Dev Ops Support personnel to support application as multiple fronts.
We are looking for an avid technologist who –
applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.
deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
with a developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.
can be moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses’ core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Here is what you bring –
Basic knowledge or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas.
Participation in some process improvements.
Previous experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices.
Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
Ability to plan and organize workload
Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder
Experience on shell scripting
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift
Possess knowledge Linux fundamentals
Should have worked on configurations of Source code management tools like Git, Bitbucket
You have a passion for solving tough problems and proposing elegant solutions.
You must work well under pressure and changing priorities
You are an avid learner with an ability to learn and adapt so that you can help teach others and encourage idea exchange and information percolation
On a typical day here is what you could do –
Automate application builds and deployments
Setup/maintain CI/CD pipeline for all projects during project initiation and maintain the documentation
Propose and follow the branching/merge strategies in version control tool
Write scripts and automation using Shell/Python
Coordinate and track the technical upgrade projects.
Manage all production releases.
Manage OpenShift clusters
Collaborate with development and operations team.
Ability to work independently, good communication skills, has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects.
