The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business, coordinate annual VA testing for multiple applications and addresses technology upgrades and EOVS items . Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
The Application Support/Management Senior Analyst provides technical and business support for SaaS and On premise Citi Applications. This includes Application administration, providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.
Manages, maintains and supports applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations.
Hands-on experience in managing, supporting and upgrading EOVS items
Should have technical expertise to review system architecture design and provide feedback to vendor
Experience with application administration/management activities. Should be able to support multiple SaaS and On premise SaaS applications for all the compliance and regulatory activities.
Should be well versed with Vulnerability assessments and coordination. Should be well versed with corrective action plan (CAP) and Risk exception(RE) controls.
Should be well versed with project management and SDLC cycle.
Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements
Considers the implications of the application of technology to the current environment. Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
Works with vendors and reviews application contingency planning to ensure availability to users.
Partners with appropriate development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
Participate in application releases, from upgrade, testing and deployment into production.
Knowledge and experience with RLM, CyberArk and But Bucket onboarding.
Ensures essential procedures are followed and helps to define operating standards and processes.
Facilitate the escalation of high risk Third Party incidents or perpetual performance failures affecting the compliance to Citi’s Information Security Standards
Interfacing with various Citi technology, risk and compliance teams
Manage the end to end process to onboard the 3rd party vendor applications to GIDA and EERS, if needed
Manage and ensure that the 3rd party vendor applications information in CSI is accurate, correct and up to date
Work closely with the Information Security teams to ensure compliance of HR applications with Citi’s IS policies pre-contract and post-implementation
Act as a liaison between users, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
Expected to be able to raise problems to appropriate technology and business teams, while adhering to Service Level Agreements.
Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations.
Exhibits sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.
Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Good understanding and knowledge of Application Support, DevOps, RLM/CyberArk/Bitbucket, Secure SDLC, Vulnerability testing life cycle.
Sound understanding of Project management with awareness for Agile Methodologies like Agile
5-8 years’ experience in an Application Support/Infrastructure support role
Experience working with infrastructure group is installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
Service oriented attitude and demonstrated analytical skills
Issue tracking and reporting using tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Exposure to SAAS application support model will definitive plus
Prior exposure to software vulnerability testing would be a definitive plus.
Good all-round technical skills
Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
Ability to plan and organize workload
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder
