The Applications Development Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. , and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Manage the deliverables. Coordinate with onshore folks; prioritize technical issue resolution.
Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design, project planning and monitoring
Understand and analyze the data to find patterns and valuable business insights
Facilitate change and innovation to legacy systems and processes
Required to review the day to day delivery work with the team, ensuring a robust process implementation, identifying project/program delivery risks and work on risk mitigation.
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree with total 9+ years of BI experience
Professional experience in building Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards
Strong knowledge on Tableau desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau server
Strong Data Modelling skills
Working knowledge on QlikView/QlikSense and MicroStrategy
Experience of creating functional and technical documents
Should have experience of working in Agile projects
Should be good at tuning Dashboards and Reports
Strong SQL skills in at least one DB – SQL server, Oracle etc
Exposure on Big Data connectivity with Tableau/Qlik
Experience on connecting API with Tableau server
Tableau mobile development.
Good to Have:
Knowledge of cloud technology
Knowledge of programming languages – html,java script.
