Testing Manager
GFT is looking for a seasoned Testing Manager for Global Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) Application.
Responsibilities:
Define Automation Architecture, design, and implementation of Test Automation Solutions.
Advocate best practices to QA team members.
Collaborate with development managers, Product Owners to ensure highest quality of the product by architecting automation solutions.
Develop/enhance automation framework to increase the automation coverage.
Able to analyze applications thoroughly and demonstrate strong QA skills to drive quality of software delivery.
Identify and highlight ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA function operates to create an efficient and scalable team.
Work with application teams to develop / update end-to-end integrated testing methodologies.
Identify areas of constant change, suggest improvements, address impediments faced by the QA team, highlight foreseeable dependencies hence enhance confidence levels for QA deliverables.
Resource should demonstrate Strong analytical and reasoning capability.
Work with the business, development, and production support teams to investigate issues and prevent production defects
Guide the team to provide precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort.
Delivery / Artifacts reviews to monitor progress/gaps through JIRA dashboards for the QA team.
Have a thorough and complete understanding of the application and demonstrate strong QA skills to have quality deliverable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of experience in functional and non-functional testing.
Excellent knowledge of software testing techniques and testing tools.
Experience in developing test automation frameworks for both functional and non-functional tests.
Full understanding of Agile, QA and defect lifecycle.
Engage proactively with the QA manager regarding test statuses, resourcing, risk reporting.
Experience working in geographically distributed and culturally diverse work groups with strong team management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
Ability and interest in developing automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience with leveraging API testing tools (Soap UI, Rest Assured, Postman, JMeter).
Assist in streamlining and improving the daily test processes.
Knowledge of Advanced SQL and relational databases.
Development & technical skills in Advanced Java or any other programming.
Experience in test automation methodologies / tools (Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit).
Expertise in functional Test tool (JIRA).
Expertise in build tools like Maven / Gradle, continuous integration tools like Jenkins, source management tools like Git/GitHub.
Hands on experience in code review, unit testing and integration testing.
Exposure to banking / financial domains.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Should be confident, innovative, self-motivated and results oriented.
QA experience with Hadoop / Big Data will be a plus.
