TIBCO’s Core Platform group lays the foundation of the TIBCO Connected Intelligence

(https://www.tibco.com/connected-intelligence) and the TIBCO Core Platform. This group provides processes and technology required to effectively deliver, run and manage TIBCO products in/from the Cloud.

This position is a truly awesome opportunity to work in a group of highly motivated and skilled team members. You will be exposed to the very latest cutting edge cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, NodeJS, Angular etc) and Cloud providers such as AWS and Azure.

Role Overview

Lead Cloud Engineer for UI helps in designing and implementing TIBCO Core Platform’s Control Plane.

Responsibilities

An ideal candidate is expected to:

  • Own, drive, and evolve architectural pieces of the TIBCO Core Platform Control Plane infrastructure stack

  • Be able to track requirements, design, prototype and recommend new technologies

  • Work closely with the product management as and when required to ensure timely delivery

  • Work with a geographically distributed team of developers and mentor junior developers

  • Have a proven track record of debugging distributed systems

  • Have excellent debugging skills

  • Have previous exposure to Agile way of developing software

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Computer Engineering degree (BE/BTech, ME/MTech) from institutes like IITs, RECs preferred

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant hands-on industry experience

  • Working knowledge of UNIX is essential

  • Hands-on in one or more languages: Javascript, NodeJS, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Shell-scripting, SQL

  • Previous experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes will be extremely helpful

  • Working knowledge of Git / Github or any modern versioncontrol system

  • Designing and developing REST microservices and best practices for REST design

  • Previous experience designing Single-Page-Applications (SPAs) and popular UI frameworks such as Vue.js, React etc. and backend frameworks like Koa, Express, etc will be helpful but not essential
