In this role, you will work with the business areas and corporate functions within credit suisse india to partner on communication topics in the india and international media, including traditional and social media.
As india communications lead, you will provide proactive, practical and strategic counsel and support to senior management and business partners and be responsible for the creation and implementation of media activities and communication plans, both external and internal
The diverse portfolio of activities also includes the handling of complex media enquiries and managing issues from a communications perspective as well as the devising on thought leadership positioning, writing media releases, briefing documents and other communications materials such as social media posts
You will take the responsibility for proactively building and maintaining relationships with journalists, serving as an essential link between the media and the bank
You will also develop and implement employee engagement and culture communications activities, as well as draft internal staff broadcasts and intranet news articles
You will collaborate closely with the asia pacific and group corporate communications teams as well as with the bank’s marketing and branding teams.

Your skills and experience
You’ll be a good match if you have:
A university degree with solid professional experience as a media spokesperson, at an assistant vice president or newly promoted vice president level [sv(1], in an international investment bank, or with a multinational firm in the financial services industry
Established network of media contacts in india; experience at or working with agencies is a plus
Outstanding written (including editing and proofreading), spoken and presentation skills
Experience in collaborating with senior business partners and various partners across different hierarchy levels and both within apac and globally, to deliver communication activities that support business growth and drive positive change
Excellent interpersonal skills, a talent for building trusted relationships across all levels and areas of an organization, and a positive personality with a high level of energy
A creative approach with the ability to turn ideas into inspiring and convincing communications while having strong organizational skills enabling you to balance multiple projects, priorities and deliverables in parallel
The ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Outstanding ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and have close attention to detail
