The head – india talent acquisition, is responsible for providing strategic direction and drive execution of talent acquisition strategies working with the eaton india talent acquisition team and business & hr leadersRole provides talent acquisition solutions to ensure outcomes are achieved for hiring needs and critical hiring initiativesRole is responsible for driving operational rigor with a data driven mindset toward kpi and metrics results while harmonizing processes within the recruiting team, establishing consistent communication and experience across the function, in the countryRole plays a significant role in developing strategic recruiting and sourcing strategies for niche high demand/low supply roles in india attracting and hiring top talent at all levelsRole will be a member of the hr leadership for the country and global talent acquisition leadership team.
Essential functions include:
Leads the recruitment strategy for how eaton will execute banded and technical recruiting in india, bringing together the resources of talent acquisition recruiting, employer banding and marketing, talent acquisition operations and technology and the hr services.
Partner with leaders and hr business partners to assess hiring needs, workforce planning, capacity planning, and year-end planning to build a stronger strategic approach for talent acquisition in the country/ region (india).
Translates global ta priorities into a regional strategy that supports the unique hiring needs of the region, communicates this strategy clearly to the region ta leaders and recruiters and to customers ensuring there is a clear direction communicated on how ta delivers.
Achieve an annual hiring plan that emphasizes scale, quality, and speed of hiresTo do this, the ta leader must understand the business`s goals and strategy related to the talent plan and translate that into a clear resource strategy that combines people, process, and technology to deliver outcomes.
Implement and promote diversity and inclusion programs pertaining to ta.
Leads, coaches, and inspires a regional talent acquisition team of managers to deliver outstanding results while effectively communicating the critical dimensions of the long-term visionComfortable rolling up sleeves to get things done in tandem with participating in deeply complex discussions.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent acquisition and employment law and applies this knowledge to communicate changes to upper management and across the ta team in the regionActs as the primary point for compliance in the region.
Assesses the strengths and weakness of the recruiting teams in the region, actively manages headcount and resources using data and technologyCoaches their leaders to build innovative recruiting strategies from the ground up for the divisions for which they are aligned.
Effectively manages communications and change with their regional ta teams and the businessTakes a leadership role in delivering any change to the business.

Qualifications
Requirement:
Master’s degree with minimum of 12 years’ experience working in a corporate recruiting or hr management role
Minimum of 7 years’ experience managing direct reports
Minimum of 3 years managing managers
Exceptional organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven experience translating automation solutions into functional productivity gains
