We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and passionate person to join our team in the role of Project Manager.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading our functional and technical consultants to create unique customer solutions leveraging the full power of the Salesforce.com platform. The Project Manager will have full responsibility for delivering a complete and successful project partnering with our clients and internal assigned resources. Applicants need to be self-starters that are organized and capable of managing a team without direct management over site.
Responsibilities:
Owning all aspects of the project through its complete lifecycle including the preparation and completion of action plans
Managing the project financials, scope and timelines including status and expense reports, and change orders as required
Commanding large group settings and articulating complex concepts to audiences of varying technical/business levels
Management of risks/issues and their mitigation and assist in removing project work blockers
Providing team direction on timeline expectations and assigned tasks for specific client engagement
Accomplishing project objectives by ensuring all assigned tasks are communicated properly, assigned to appropriate resources to be completed on time
Monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions from team participants even when not a direct report
Providing direction and best practice expertise on practice standards for exceeding customer expectations and project standards
Being an advocate of change to continue to improve processes sand standards within consulting practice
Reviewing deliverables prepared by the team and ensuring documents are complete
Coordinating with off-shore or sub-contracted resources as required by project work
Achieving published company utilization targets
Communicating CRM and Salesforce.com configuration and management best practices to the project team
Interacting with the sales team to help correctly scope new project work
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Preferred locations: Pune, India with work from home
Must Have Skills:
7+ years of experience leading implementations of enterprise class systems
3+ years of experience working with the Salesforce.com product including managing project team members
Preferred Skills:
Experience at other certified Salesforce.com consulting firms
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects to a budget and scope
Project Management Tool experienced preferred
Ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions
Saleforce.com Consultant Certification
Salesforce.com Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud certification
Experience with the Salesforce.com APEX data loader or other data tools
Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies
Achieving and maintaining Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud certification
Knowledge of and experience with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)
