Introduction:

As an IT Financial Analyst, you will be part of the IT Enablement Office within the GlobalFoundries IT organization. Your role will interface with the finance organization and other business units to execute and monitor IT spend.

Your Job:

• Support the Finance organization and FP&A manager on various financial analyses and reports.
• Interface with multiple business units to execute and monitor the IT spend.
• Proactively solve accounts payable and financial discrepancies with invoices against purchase orders.
• Partner and support IT functions related to billings, new statements of work and purchase orders, and Performance Metrics at times, lead cost saving initiatives by collaboratively working with key business and IT leaders.
• Work within IT to develop policies, procedures, and systems to support the IT financial processes and allocations.
• Develop, implement, and track key indicators within IT in partnership with senior leadership.
• Perform ad-hoc research, analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in similar role.
• Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Self-starter who can work well independently or in a collaborative team environment.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Basic understanding of IT areas/departments.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Comfortable driving interactions between external suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, World, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Prior experience with ServiceNow, Oracle, and SAP
• SQL programming knowledge or general understanding is a plus
• Able to cope with pressure.
• Strong business acumen.
