Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry across devices, Network Infrastructure OEMs, IT, and/or related start-ups
Experience using data analytics to study trends
Preferred qualifications:
Understand the consumer landscape and broad technology trends
Ability to evolve business and market strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
Ability to support and manage initiatives across organizational boundaries and represent and advocate business or technical concepts internally and externally
Comfortable working in a matrix structure
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google’s broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, AdMob, and Google Ad Manager across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web. In addition, the Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help power Google’s user experiences in search, maps, travel, shopping, payments, and more.
As a Strategic Partnership Development Manager on the Platforms and Ecosystems (P&E) Partnerships team, you will use a strategic approach to identify and execute against opportunities that keep Android’s meteoric growth going. You will help the P&E leadership team build go-to-market plans, deliver local market insights, and identify opportunities to deepen and strengthen the partner relationships.

Our team provides meaningful solutions — from helping publishers and developers grow their businesses through monetization solutions, to helping our long-term partners anticipate and navigate change in a way that delivers economic and reputational value. We build and distribute products through partnerships across a multitude of product areas, including Ads, Search & Assistant, Geo, Platforms & Ecosystems, Devices & Services, Health, Retail, Payments, Next Billion Users, and more. We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
Track the performance of Android with our key partners across all business metrics, including distribution, market share acquisition and retention, and Android-wide platform business generation (e.g., Carrier Billing, Play, Entry- level device, Android TV).
Partner with Strategy Operations to build a future pipeline with OEMs on surfaces (e.g., tablets, devices and services, Google TV) and Premium segment.
Partner with account leads to collate consumer, market insights, and trends from existing partnerships at a central level, while protecting customer sensitive information.
Collaborate with the current account leaders and use a scientific approach to identify initiatives for growth of the Android ecosystem.
Help streamline executive update and approval process across account teams.
