Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
20 years of professional experience in engineering, with experience in technical innovation and leading organizations.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in enterprise-level software.
Experience building high performing mobile and web applications.
Ability to make technical decisions, have credibility with engineers, and leads technical reviews and discussions and manage details when needed.
Ability to take a customer-centric approach and engage with GTM counterparts and executives customers.
Ability to attract/manage talent internally and externally.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and management skills with the ability to manage organization and business needs.

In this role, you will lead the strategy and development of all growth and commerce technology for Google Workspace. You will build global engineering teams, work with engineering Directors to guide technical direction, and work with product management to define overall sector strategy.
You will work with customers, product managers, solutions architects, and Go-To-Market (GTM) colleagues to understand customers’ use cases, and translate them into technical designs and implementations.

Lead an organization of Googlers, with direct management of key engineering leads for individual products, across multiple global sites.
Be responsible and accountable for ongoing development and milestones as defined in objectives and key results, key customer commitments, and direct interaction with product, customer engineers, and field teams.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management VPs and Directors across Collaboration and Communication (C&C), Google Cloud, and Google. Will work closely with local Product Area leadership, Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS), People Operations, Finance, and Legal to set policy, maintain culture, and ensure the site is productive and runs smoothly. Represent Google Workspace, Google Cloud, and/or Google in external engagements.
