Benefits/loa administration
Use case management approach to resolves matters pertaining to employee benefit programs, including life, health, disability, medical, paid time off as well as retirement and pension plans
Assists employees with enrolling in medical, dental, and vision insurance plans
Administrates cobra, loa, fmla, global leaves, and other issues as required by regulations and legal standards
Informs employees of issues with insurance providers and other benefit processes
Resolves employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administration concerns
Intakes and processes all inquiries through call center concerns during times of open enrollment
Reviews and processes all payroll deductions
Conducts daily reporting on various enrollments, leave of absence, and billing administration
Provides ongoing support for the benefits and hr teams
Ensure data on hr systems is accurate through monthly audit checks
Run daily and monthly hr reports for hr teams
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
1-3 years hr/benefits administration experience preferred
Ability to speak and write english
Knowledge & skill:
Entry level for more complex professional roles requiring a specific degree (i.e., computer science, accounting etc).
Has general professional knowledge or possesses specialized vocational/technical skills for a variety of technical or administrative policies and procedures.
Sound understanding of the skills and working knowledge required for a variety of practices and procedures.
Assignments are specialized in nature and usually require originality where the individual relies on experience and judgment.
Good understanding of the roles of the relevant functional groups within own area.
65-75 wpm typing speed
Must be proficient in excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, formulas)
Proficient in various hris systems (ultipro and workday a plus)
