Responsibilities –
Production Monitoring team is responsible for Monitor Applications & infrastructure in production 24×7 as per policy. This includes Health check of Applications, Network and Storage including Daily Preflight Checklist, initial troubleshooting and resolution of issue.

– Work with internal partners to communicate important information about system maintenance, changes, events, and to address their concerns regarding any aspect of the services.

Prepare documentation for troubleshooting and escalation procedures.

Open to working in shifts including night shifts and work schedules in which employees change or rotate shift. Weekly Off may be on a weekday [Monday-Friday] instead of weekends depending on rotation or company policy.

Maintain Daily Shift documentation and End of the Day Reports.

Initial troubleshooting of the issue and resolution.

Understand system issues and notify senior Application / Infrastructure Leads or Support Engineers appropriately using Escalation Charts.

Assist in Smoke testing after each component deployment in test environments and Production

Assist in Preparing Production Reports and Summaries.

Creating documentation for the routine activities.

Developing benchmarks for various part of the system.

Analysis of the production behavior to catch abnormal patterns.

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or equivalent professional experience.

1+ years of Systems Monitoring in 24×7 Production Services environment.
