We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The Learning and Development Specialist will collaborate with various departments to assess training needs, develop curriculum, and deliver effective learning solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and the ability to create engaging training experiences.
Who You Are
Training Needs Analysis:
Conduct thorough assessments of organizational training needs through surveys, interviews, and collaboration with departmental leaders.
Analyze performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
Design and develop training programs, workshops, and materials based on identified needs and learning objectives.
Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Delivery and Facilitation:
Deliver training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to ensure active participant engagement.
Stay current with learning technologies and recommend tools that enhance the learning experience.
Manage and administer learning management systems (LMS) to track training participation and effectiveness.
Evaluation and Measurement:
Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
Analyze feedback and assessment data to continuously improve and update training content.
Work closely with subject matter experts, department managers, and other stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with organizational goals.
Collaborate with external training vendors when necessary.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning and development.
Continuously enhance personal and professional development in the field.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and results.
Prepare and present reports to management on the impact and effectiveness of learning programs.
