Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the category marketing charter for Myntra working closely with the Head of brand
marketing
2. Develop and implement comprehensive category marketing strategies (across Footwear,
Home, Kids, Beauty, Apparel, Wearables) to drive awareness and consideration leading
to user and customer growth for the relevant categories
3. Collaborate with the marketing insights team to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and
competitive landscape within the assigned category
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business priorities and align
marketing initiatives to drive mutually aligned KPIs.
5. Create and execute innovative campaigns to promote category-specific products,
considering target audience preferences and market dynamics.
6. Manage the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch and
ongoing sustenance, ensuring brand consistency.
7. Analyze and interpret data metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
and adjust strategies accordingly.
8. Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, retailers, and internal
teams, to optimize category performance.
9. Monitor and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer
preferences to proactively identify growth opportunities.
10. Financial planning to ensure effective allocation of resources for category marketing
initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
1. 3-5 years of post-MBA experience as a Brand Manager or in a similar role, with a focus
on category marketing.
2. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
4. Creativity and a keen eye for design to ensure compelling marketing materials.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Understanding of digital marketing trends and social media platforms.
7. Familiarity with market research techniques and tools.
8. Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
9. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
