WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years in an applications development role
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the ServiceNow platform as a DevOps Engineer, including implementation, administration, configuration, development and customization of core applications in an enterprise environment
Strong technical and platform knowledge with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting application issues
Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills and the ability to work across organizational boundaries
Knowledge of when it’s appropriate to use an OOB API or integration method
Thorough understanding of security in the instance
Knowledge of when to use client vs. server (or both) methods for optimizing user experience while still maintaining system performance and data integrity
Working in a team development environment wherein multiple developers utilize the same path-to-prod and release cadence
Knowledge of when it is appropriate to use an OOB plugin vs. custom development
Knowledgeable on common upgrade issues caused by custom development
Analytical skills to investigate issues, find solutions to problems and improve processes
Usage of Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work
Preferred:
Configuration of Performance Analytics
Configuration of Discovery, probes and sensors, MID servers
Development of ServiceNow mobile apps
Creation and maintenance of Service Portal
Usage of ATF
Experience with CI/CD and ServiceNow
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, ServiceNow Application Developer
ITIL certification

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise on the ServiceNow Enterprise Service Management platform.
This role does configuration, development, administration and operational support tasks for all aspects of the ServiceNow platform including standard configuration, security, data management, reporting, integrations with third party applications and environment management while ensuring that data integrity, platform health and best practices are maintained.
The candidate needs to have sound technical expertise on ServiceNow configuration, development and operations and possess interpersonal skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, team members and leadership.

If this is you, you’ll be working with process owners, stakeholders and platform / service owner to deliver technical solutions via Scrum methodology that solve problems while supporting the long-term health of the ServiceNow platform.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
In this role, you will be reporting to the ESM Engineering Manager based out of Nike India Technology Center, Bengaluru.
You will be part of a Scrum team and collaborate with Scrum Master, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, Test Engineers, and business stakeholders.
You will collaborate with Lead Developer, Operations Lead and ESM Leadership on process enhancements and automation of ESM activities.
