Join as a Lead, HR Technology for Workday BAU Support within the News Corporation.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Leading Workday BAU support & maintenance for all Business Units globally
Leading and managing testing, configuration, and maintenance of all global Workday talent lifecycle processes, including recruiting, onboarding, off boarding, performance management, talent assessment, calibration, etc.
Lead, manage and Collaborate with other News Corp companies’ Compensation Teams to execute the annual compensation planning process and performance management process
Manage and drive operations necessary to ensure global data quality, data integrity, and operational efficiency of HR systems in a fast-paced, matrixed organization to support the business
Responsible for collecting robust end user feedback on the state of our current user experience, defining and leading projects to evolve this experience in line with the desired outputs, and measuring/communicating the success of these initiatives across the business.
Provide project management support across a variety of initiatives to ensure projects are completed on time with a high level of operational excellence
Implement process change management across the company to drive HR data integrity, quality, reliability and accountability with continual inspection and validation
Own and maintain internal control for SOX Compliance
Develop, maintain, and audit quarterly workforce analytic reports, dashboards, metrics, and trends to enable recommendations to the Global HR Organization and Business.
Collaborate with Regional HR Leadership, IT, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and user requirements, assess available technologies, recommend, and implement solutions, and drive change management and adoption.
Provide Workday techno functional leadership to the support team
Provide support to News Corp and its subsidiaries by analyzing user issues and resolving them via technical solution and/or process re-engineering
Identify opportunities to enhance Workday via the semi-annual release
Lead the change management efforts on new business processes
Qualifications:
8+ years of HRIS experience with leading support & maintenance globally
Minimum 5yrs of experience with Workday implementations along with HR Services background
Expert knowledge in the following modules in Workday (Prior work experience with a Workday implementation partner is strongly preferred)
HCM
Absence Management
Time Tracking
Performance Management
Reporting
Compensation Management
Recruiting
Hands on configurations and maintenance support experience with Workday is a must
Must have exposure from requirement development / definition to functional solution design, implementation, data-migration, system testing, user acceptance testing, go-live and service management.
Strong employee service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written explaining technical issues and solutions to non-technical audiences
Attention to details & an enthusiastic team player
Experience both with strategy as well as day to day operations and comfortable with both
Significant direct and indirect leadership experience across a fast-growing organization.
Need to maintain confidentiality & high ethical standards
Ability to perform process re-engineering, troubleshoot problems and determine root causes of business issues
