We’re looking for an analytically minded and driven professional to join our Data Management and Business Insights Team! This person will play a pivotal role in advancing our analytics capabilities.
The ideal candidate is an experienced analytical practitioner with a passion for spotting patterns, an eagerness to collaborate with several cross-functional teams, and the curiosity to learn more every day.
Partner with our internal data and analytics teams and identify gaps and opportunitieswhere we can build or enhance our analytical capabilities.
Perform exploratory analysis and feature engineering to define new ways to interpret data and identify trends and opportunities.
Design and build data science capabilities based on identified opportunities and statistical models that have a clear business benefit.
Provide thought leadership on metric design, data architectures and processes, and data visualization best practices that scale well with the growing needs of the business.
Drive project success though disciplined agile methodologies and strong planning/communication.
Passion and drive to disrupt the lending and financial industry for the better.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field preferred.
6+ years of experience in an analytically driven role (in analytics, data science, finance, or related fields).
Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functionally, driving effective communication to technical and non-technical leaders.
Strong working knowledge of SQL and/or experience with Python, and an ability to think in systems.
Passionate about delivering code via CI/CD pipelines
In-depth knowledge of Advanced Statistics including Statistical distributions, Hypothesis testing, Time series and experience with modelling.
Experience with standard analytics and data science frameworks like NumPy, Scikit-learn, StatsModel
Excellent data story-telling abilities and experience with data visualization and BI tools (Birst, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
Sufficient laziness to want to automate everything.
