Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.
Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools — escalating to management where appropriate. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Responsible for support documentation as well.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field.
Manage Change Request Queue such as action assignment, status update, escalation, closing completion and resolution as per the pre designed processes and procedures.
Report status of Change Requests to Mid Level Management bi weekly.
Coordinate change requests with Engineering Group, Product Development, Application management team and customer facing point of contacts.
Handle provisioning activities using Oracle approved provisioning tools and adhering to predefined standards.
Determine, suggest and execute innovations for better and quicker provisioning.
Handling decommission request and processes those as per pre defined standards.
Maintain skills and ability to take orders and manage add-on sales process as needed.
Provide single point of client contact for all day-to-day operational issues, both when the client is in pre- production.
The role will need understanding of IAAS and SAAS in Cloud Infrastructure.
