Full job description
Plum behavioral health services currently has an opening for a therapist with experience and interest in practicing dialectical behavioral therapy while working with individuals and occasionally familiesYou will provide a wide range of clinical services including, conducting initial clinical assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing therapy group skills training, as well as weekly consultation.
Responsibilities:
You will be a part of the plum behavioral health services team, providing psychotherapy and skills training for individuals and groups for clients, supported by a multidisciplinary team of providers.
You will be able to learn, develop, and demonstrate clinical competency in variety of evidence based treatment modalities, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (dbt), and radically open dbt for individuals and group skills training, as well as, occasionally working with families and couples.
You will be able to practice under the guidelines of your licensure, while conducting diagnostic assessments with clients using the latest statistical manual of mental disorders (dsm) and international classification of diseases (icd) and determine the appropriate level of need and model adherent interventions as part of the clinical team.
You will be able to provide clients of indiana knowledgeable community information and resources.

You will be able to work within our agency ehr to maintain accurate and timely written health record of services provided.
You will be able to participate in cooperative consultation with interdisciplinary clinical team members to support skillful treatment and reduce burnoutYou will able to participate in a review of cases and quality assurance concerns with clinical teamConsultation allows you to consult and be consulted with team members and others in the organization.
Other relevant clinical duties as assigned.
Basic qualifications:
Master`s degree in clinical counseling, or allied field related to the practice of mental health counseling from an accredited college or university.
Valid indian or license marriage and family therapist (lmft) or valid indiana or licensed mental health counselor (lmhc), licensed clinical social worker (lcsw).
This position requires successful completion of credentialing process upon hire.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience providing evidence-based treatment, including conducting individual, and group therapy, intensive outpatient treatment, and/or partial hospitalization programs for children, and/or adults.
Knowledge and experience in conducting assessments and diagnostic evaluations using the latest diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (dsm) and international classification of diseases (icd).
Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability in documentation, time management, conflict resolution, decision making, group process facilitation, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, quality management, teamwork and written communication.
Formal training and/or experience in assessing and providing services through telecommunication.
