Roles & Responsibilities:
Must be capable of providing conceptual as well as detail design drawings
Requires experience with specification of piping, piping components valves, hangers, vessels and other mechanical equipment
Preparation of Bill of Material of the system in ERP system
Piping Layout, Equipment layout, Isometrics, Pipe support detailing , PFD & P&ID
Creating Piping Routing with respect to Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and optimizing the Skids & Plant I/C piping.
Creating Mechanical General Arrangement drawings (GA’s & Plot Plans), and detail fabrication drawings, of vessels, frames, and pipe spools/ isometrics with BOM
Support activities concerned with process and mechanical design reviews; technical developments; and engineering resolution related to design, testing and field problems. Provide engineering support to Sourcing, Production and Field, from the office, as required and
Working on document controls of released documents, and involve in customer technical discussion.
Maintain project tracker and adhere to the required scope, quality and timelines
Creating structural detailed fabrication drawings.
The incumbent should also be experienced with piping design with ANSI/IS/ASME B31.1 & B31.3 piping specifications and layouts for O&G Plants and have strong knowledge of structural steel and steel fabrication and welding process symbols.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player.
Good communication skills in the English language with the ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written correspondence are essential.
The incumbent must be able to demonstrate effective problem solving skills and should have the ability to manage and prioritise workloads independently, and assist resolving production drawing issues and capturing Lessons Learned.
