Application innovation services (ais) is a global organization within sap with the vision to be the catalyst for the customer’s transformation to the intelligent enterpriseOur strategy is to drive transformation using our deep product and business expertiseOur mission is to delight our sap customers with excellent maintenance, innovation and transformation servicesAis is the custodian of the codebase of multiple sap products and responsible for safeguarding 50%+ of the revenue for sap year-on-year.
Key goals of ais are to:
Run: protect the maintenance revenue of sap by providing efficient maintenance and high-quality of code corrections to all sap customers.
Innovate: to deliver high quality product enhancements based on product improvement initiatives like customer connectionDevelop new releases with excellent quality according to product and process standards.

About the job:
As part of ais, you will be exposed to sap’s biggest customersYou will support them with technical and functional expertise in the role of an senior developer in the area of sap s/4 hana finance.
The primary objective is to:
Demonstrate technical, functional skills and support our customers in sap s/4 hana finance.
Develop deep functional expertise and take product ownership in the module assigned to you.
Contribute to transformational projects which would help customers to move to sap s/4 hana finance.
Continue to build deep technical expertise in areas like hana, abap, abap oo, fiori, etc.
Become a trusted advisor for customer’s business.
Mentor colleagues create greater positive impact for the team and customers.
Expectations and tasks
Preparedness to take up remote knowledge transfer sessions from our global development teams
Self-motivated and curios to learn with minimum handholding and gain techno-functional expert in the specified area
Work with high levels of commitment and passion on the assigned topics to provide high quality solutions for customer.
Provide high-quality solutions to complex problem faced by sap customers
Resolve customer reported issues in a timely manner
Take ownership of work and operate in a globally distributed organization
Proactiveness to take up additional/new topics
Articulate technical information clearly for customers and within our organization
Prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs with estimated efforts and drive topics to completion
Innovation mindset, continuous improvement and optimization of support activities.
Contribute to saps success story in both on-premise and in cloud
Education & skill requirements
Bachelor / master of engineering with preference of computer science engineering.
5 -7 years of experience working in sap erp domain.
Must have strong knowledge of abap programming language
Functional knowledge in any sap erp module is preferred.
Knowledge on sap financials is preferred.
Must be able to multitask and work independently.
Must have excellent communication and articulation skills.
Good knowledge of database internals/database architecture and exposure to sap hana
Sap fiori, ui5 working knowledge will be an added advantage.
