SUMMARY

The SAP Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) is a global organization as part of Services, Customer Success board area. We are searching for a senior consultant in Bangalore, India.

SAP is providing solutions for data-driven business with SAP Intelligent Enterprise. DMLT is offering 100 consulting services for guidance, advisory, architect, and delivery of unique and advanced technology to fill the gap in DATA area of solutions for customers business needs. Team is driving business through Go-To-Market, Demand Generation, Customer Engagement, technology development and service delivery in 3 solution areas around DATA;

1.Transition into the Intelligent Enterprise

2.Data Management

3.System Landscape Optimization (SLO) for the Intelligent Enterprise

This position is a great opportunity to join SAP Global expert community to become a global solution architect and develop carrier in special strategic technology in SAP.

THE ROLE

As a DMLT Consultant in this position your job will involve working in a global team focusing on:

• International customer engagements/projects/supports to provide the best solution and solution architect to realize planned adoption and changes in productive environment, SAP applications, digital platform, innovation and system landscapes with experts from other team members or individually for your own core solution area:

• Activities in our Go-to-Market Area including support for Professional services/Premium Engagement/License sales, the intellectual property in the form of best practices, creating sales collateral, methodologies and providing critical input into the Service Portfolio Management Team and development teams for further improvements.

It includes:

• Drive transformation projects into and within SAPs Intelligent Enterprise incl. S/4HANA based on SAP standard software and DMLT consulting solutions

• Enable regional/local consultants across teams in Service organization for delivery

• Lead bringing innovative idea of solutions to customers for their business benefits

• Maintain and contribute to service development and knowledge sharing, continuous improvement in operation, products

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience as Consultant or Solution Architect of SAP Software solution portfolio, and overall 10 to 12 years of total IT industry experience.

• Knowledge on SAPs best practice standards and tools for Application Lifecycle Management of Cloud Solutions

• Knowledge and experience in executing data migration and conversion projects, various data migration techniques and approaches as well as data management/governance topics like data management strategy, governance, data quality, master data governance.

• Experience and proven track in customer interaction and international projects.

• Understanding in SAPs new dimension products along Intelligent Enterprise e.g.) S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Data Intelligence, Machine Learning is plus

• Knowledge in Data Scientist is great plus

• Good technology and architecture knowledge about SAP Enterprise Cloud Services. Understanding frontend design is a plus, ideally based on SAP Cloud Foundry with solution development skill in Business Technology Platform.

• Experience in Data Management area of solutions like Data Intelligence (DI) is a strong asset

• Programming knowledge and experience (SAPUI5, Python, JAVA, etc.) is a strong asset

• Business development skills understand customers pain points and present potential SAP/DMLT data transformation solutions

• Ability to drive execution within area of responsibility and experience in aligning cross-topic objectives & approaches

• Knowledge of core business processes such as Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design2 Operate, or Hire-2-Retire are a strong asset

• Project management, Enterprise Architect, Business Consulting skills are plus

• Ability to present complex information to customers and colleagues in a clear and appealing manner, and position content solutions and services to industry demand

• Working in an international environment, Willingness to travel

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

An Engineering graduate or MCA from a recognized and well accredited university or institution.

Area of specialties that potentially enhance business value like business administration, data science, AI, city planning etc. would be big plus
