Shell is implementing Data Cataloguing throughout the organization. As the scope of the project continues to grow, active recruitment for Collibra experience resources has started. The purpose of this job is to support new business deployments on the Collibra platform. It is a fresh team in a new part of the organization. Data Governance / Data Cataloguing and Quality. You will bring expertise and experience and we will provide you with an interesting working environment, energetic colleagues, and challenging projects with senior exposure.
Your Day
The Data Catalogue SME works in close collaboration with the Collibra functional consultant and the Collibra workflow developers. They are a core team working with the business partners to implement the data cataloguing capability. It is crucial to understand the technicalities around connectors, ingestions, metadata management and workflows. The purpose of this job is also to proactively work with the business users and help translate requirements into a Collibra Solution. This role requires a candidate mature in Collibra with a proven track record in developing and implementing workflows. The core team of Collibra sits in Bangalore (IN), The Hague (NL), and London (UK). Busines stakeholders typically sit in Europe and the United Kingdom.
You will:
Communicate with both technical developers and business managers and gain respect and trust of leaders and staff.
Actively deliver the roll-out and embedding of Enterprise Data Catalogue initiatives in support of the key business programs advising on the technology and using leading market standard tools.
Coordinate the change management process, incident management and problem management process.
Ensure traceability of requirements from Data through testing and scope changes, to training and transition.
Drive implementation efficiency and effectiveness across the pilots and future projects to minimize cost, increase speed of implementation and maximize value delivery.
Be an ambassador for Data Governance, Cataloguing and Collibra and guide Shell through the data journey.

Education
University degree in any IT discipline
Minimum 10+ years of experience in the IT industry
Certified in Collibra learning paths, ranger preferred.
Expected Skills
Proven technology champion in working with Collibra and implementing it successfully in complex organizations.
Proven experience in installing Collibra Connectors, running ingestions from a variety of sources and hands-on experience in V5 Collibra, its JAVA & REST APIs.
Knowledge on the full capability of what Collibra has to offer and ability to use Collibra products, predict application issues and design proactive resolutions
Experience in Production Rollouts and successful implementation of Collibra products.
Very Good understanding in Data Foundation initiatives, like Modelling, Data Quality Management, Data Governance, Data Maturity Assessments and Data Strategy in support of the key business stakeholders.
