The role of the resourcing relationship manager (rrm) is to create and own a resourcing strategy and delivery for india in line with global strategy but also taking into account local requirementsThey will need to work in close partnership with ceos, country management teams (cmts) and heads of hr to understand demand and ensure appropriate deliveryThey should be in frequent contact with the relevant resourcing specialist delivery hub teams to ensure alignment of specialist delivery & operations (sd&o) to the country / region hiring demand, driving excellence in service delivery and ensuring business stakeholder satisfaction with the overall hiring process and quality of candidatesThe resourcing relationship manager will manage a small team of in-country resources (e.gResourcing governance manager, resourcing support, onboarding specialist(s), but the primary duty should be relationship managementStrategy
Design a comprehensive short-term and medium-term plan for resourcing and relationship management in india, reflecting the bank’s strategic direction in key markets, products and new developments
Implement workforce planning / demand planning / capacity planning toolkits across the countries / region.
Responsible for the “commercialisation” of the resourcing function across the countries / region.
Conduct and share external market analysis to obtain relevant market intelligence which will enable the better identification of talent.
Feedback on effectiveness of global resourcing centre of excellence (coe) products and processes, as well as contributing to global resourcing strategy.
Business and performance management
Feed demand plans to specialist delivery & operations (sd&o) function in a timely fashion to enable efficient resource planning.
Monitor the quality of resourcing delivery from sd&o
Provide resourcing performance analysis and drive continuous improvement in resourcing services using data and reporting to offer insights to relevant stakeholders.
Demonstrate deep understanding of business environment and strategy in order to effectively articulate challenges and opportunities to the sd&o function.
Act as an escalation point for service delivery failures and partner with the business and sd&o teams to implement rapid resolution plans.
Processes
Inspire a focus on quality improvement at all times, looking internally and externally for best practice.
Close analysis of available metrics to understand service delivery challenges; work collaboratively to resolve these through drawing together all relevant stakeholders.
Work in partnership with the business to remove any obstacles to service delivery.
Partner with sd&o and hrbps to ensure roll-out of world class processes and tools to support resourcing excellence as well as embedding new processes and ways of working.
People and talent
Contribute to discussions regarding succession planning and internal hiring, as well as impact this will have on hiring decisions / strategy.
Mentor and coach direct reports, ensuring there is an embedded culture of appropriate reward and development
Ensure direct reports have the appropriate skills and tools to be able to provide an effective partnership to the business and the sd&o hub
Set appropriate tone and expectations with team and work in collaboration with partners
Sett and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and reward in line with performance against responsibilities and objectives
Create and maintain a culture of open communication at all levels which subsequently filters through to excellent customer engagement
