The work schedule for this position is:
Start Date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4-6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end. Supervisory Position: Yes Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No
Duties Incumbent serves as one of the three Immigrant Visa Team Leaders working under the direct supervision of the Visa Specialist. On a day-to-day basis and under the guidance of the Visa Specialist, the incumbent supervises an eight person team of Visa Assistants. The position serves at the journeyman level, responsible for processing the full range of Immigrant Visa cases up to the point of adjudication. Incumbent works on a case-by-case basis to assist the American adjudicating officer.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in work involving the application of visa regulatory material and public contact or other closely related experience is required. Please describe your previous and current job responsibilities in detail. Also mention your Supervisory experience in detail, if applicable for this position. Education Requirements:
University degree is required. Please specify the name of the Certificate/Degree/Diploma course and the major subjects for each qualification you possess.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Fluency (Speaking, reading and writing) in English is required. And, good working knowledge (Speaking and reading) of Hindi is required. This may be tested. Please specify in your application your level of proficiency in each language listed here.
