The work schedule for this position is:
Start Date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4-6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end. Supervisory Position: No Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No
Duties The Supply Clerk (Expendables) manages the delivery, issuance, storage, disposal and inventory control of expendable supplies. The incumbent also manages inventory of gratuities, representational stock, and fuel. The position is in the General Services office (GSO) and under the supervision of the GSO Property and Supply Supervisor. This position provides support to a medium size post. Serves as back up for non expendables Supply Clerk.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply/warehousing/expendables or property/supply management, including at least 6 months of customer service experience, is required. (Please describe your previous and current job responsibilities in detail.)
Education Requirements:
Completion of Higher Secondary School certificate (Class XII) is required. (Please specify the name of the Certificate/Degree/Diploma course and the major subjects for each qualification you possess.)
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Good working knowledge (speaking, reading and writing) of English is required. Limited knowledge (speaking, reading and writing) of Hindi and Marathi is required. This may be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. (23kg) under OSHA standards.
