Position Summary:
The Infra application administrator’s role is to operate and performance-tune Microsoft O365 applications across the organization to ensure high levels service availability. The successful candidate will perform hands-on tasks to troubleshoot, manage and maintain our Office 365 tenant and related tools. Our Office 365 infrastructure is utilized across the globe; in this role the successful candidate will provide support to our global users and administer our Office 365 tenant. Additional focus of this position will involve integration of O365 tools into global processes.
Major Responsibilities:
The Infra application administrator is a 24/7 rotational shift role
Hands on experience in Administering O365 suite applications like SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps & Automate, Delve, Stream, Planner, Sway, Forms, etc
Knowledge of M365 backbone technology
Requires strong experience in SharePoint 2013 & 2016
Support experience with IIS and .NET application architecture
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database management
Diagnose problems and escalate to technical support where appropriate. Own the problem and the resolution promoting end-user satisfaction
Deep understanding of supporting and troubleshooting O365 applications
Basic knowledge of Window server operating systems and services (DNS, DHCP, AD, LDAP, ADFS, CA, IIS, etc.)
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Directory Synchronization, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure cloud platform, and TCP/IP and LAN / WAN networking
Ability to create advanced PowerShell scripts and automate repeatable Office 365 actions
Office 365 administration, migration, upgrades, and integrations
Writing and updating KB documents
Knowledge of Avepoint Cloud Governance for O365 (Plus to have)
Follow change control and problem management processes for modifications in environment in compliance with quality guidelines
Exposure to migration projects such as on-premises to the cloud, Nintex Workflows & Infopath
Experience of ServiceNow ticketing tool
Strong working knowledge of patch management and change control practices
Experience and ability to provide technical end-user support with good communication skills
Qualifications Required: BE, MSc, MCA, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Experience (Years): Minimum 3+ years related experience.
Technologies required: MS O365 suite, SharePoint Online and on-premise, MS Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps & Automate, etc & PowerShell.
Information Technology:
3-5 years of operations support experience in Office and Office 365 applications and administration tools such as:
Microsoft SharePoint Online & on-premises (Advanced)
Microsoft Teams (Advanced)
OneDrive for Business (Advanced)
Azure Active Directory (Advanced)
Yammer (Intermediate)
PowerShell (Intermediate)
Forms, Planner, Stream, Sway (Intermediate)
Support the evolution of the Microsoft 365 services through the implementation of new service features
Plus, if you have knowledge of Viva, Search and M365 Dynamics.
Exposure to tools – Fiddler, Postman
Knowledge of ShareGate migration tool
Nintex WorkFlow and Infopath
ServiceNow ticketing tool
Extensive experience with Active Directory
Good to have ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certification and must be well-versed ITSM (i.e. Incident, Problem and Change Management) processes.
