Vestas, the global leader in sustainable energy solutions, is looking for a head of public affairs for india, you will part of the global public affairs team but work and collaborate closely with our business unit for asia pacific region on understanding, advocating and shaping the policy and regulatory developments that impact our business to encourage positive impact on the policy frameworks.

Responsibilities

Public affairs and government relations strategy for india
Develop advocacy, policy positioning and recommendations
Propel relations with government, ministry and regulatory stakeholders
Collaborate and engage with customers on policy opportunities
Represent vestas in national and regional wind industry associations
Represent and promote vestas at industry conferences
Prepare market and policy briefings and relevant content for senior management

Qualifications

Experience in the field of policy and regulatory affairs
Good business insight and ability to link policy activities with business milestones.
Solid networking skills and can present him- or herself professionally and confidently externally
Inquisitive mind-set combined with sharp and effective communication skills
Relevant postgraduate degree (e.gSocial sciences, political science, law, business, etc.)

Competencies

International experience, perhaps from an international company is added advantage
Professional english written and oral skills
Ability to understand and adapt to multicultural environment
First and foremost a team-oriented person
