This role in summary

Responsible for development of Cost models for Plastic components.

Your responsibilities will include

• High level experience on Injection Molding manufacturing process, cycle time and tonnage calculations.

• Familiarity with injection tools and its components.

• Basic knowledge about all other plastics processing methods and Tooling.

• Knowledge about plastics raw materials and its properties and applications.

• Basic knowledge on procurement processes.

• Basic cost knowledge on injection molding parts.

• Manufacturing process and costing methodology of Packaging parts like Carton , Labels and EPS parts

• Responsible for Cost Model development of plastics commodity. Close interaction with Target Costing Team, Design Team and Product Management ( Plant GSS ) Team.

• Basic knowledge of Injection Molding Tool, Manufacturing/engineering processes, materials & systems

• Communication skills are a must to deal with global partners.

• Application of Technical tools:

• Experts in Tool Design.

• Knowledge on Costing tools (aPriori DFMA)

• Knowledge on CAD tools (Creo 2.0 or 4.0), PLM Software- Windchill

• Experts in Project management tools (PMP trained /certified)

• Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and Reporting Tools (Tableau / Data Studio)
