Job description
Looking for professional, high performance individuals, with sound leadership and problem solving skills, to lead multiple projects & serving clients from different geographies and domains within the shipping and logistic industryFocus on creating a customer centric and high performance culture through, effective management of people, metrics and projects, with the objective of generating and the retention of business and revenue, through continuous improvement and innovation.
Key responsibilities include:
Account planning & review: accountable for end to end delivery of the goals and objectives of clients and internal stakeholders, not limited to operations but to include training, quality, work force management, hiring and finance.
Managing people: people oriented, providing a transparent & fun working environmentEnsuring motivation is always high, keeping attrition under check while being assertive to ensure that the best candidate is available for the right activity/task and there are no bottom outliers in the system.
Winning client confidence: someone with experience in customer engagement, who can understand client expectation`s, predict client behavior and create an environment of success for both, client and wns.
Slas/kpis: ensuring that the contractual obligations are met 100% and any changes to the effect are handled through the agreed change management process.
– compliance: account is 100% compliant and adheres to industry standard norms – iso, cmmi etc.
– revenue and profitability is achieved year – on – yearWork closely with client partners, transformation & technology teams, quality and training teams to add value to the business by either growing the business organically/inorganically and optimizing the cost to run the business.
Presentation and storyboarding: ability to visualize and present complex data in insightful visuals using power bi and power point, clearly highlighting the achievements and/or areas of improvement that can showcase the past, present and future state of business metrics/kpis/slas/voc etc.
Data analytics: hands on experience in working through complex and very large data with an expert level skills on excelKeen eye to spot any trends or abnormalities within data sets.
Continuous improvement projects: someone with working knowledge on lean and six sigma principals, who has led at least 3 lean/six-sigma projects as a project leadSeeking opportunities for improvement and working with support functions (quality/training/wfm) to achieve the said improved state benefiting the client or wns would be a key responsibility.
Influencer: experience in stake holder management across multiple departments and reporting structureMaking sure that all stakeholders collaborate and work as a team to provide best in class delivery to our customers & employees alike.
Risk identification and mitigation: having foresight to identify and mitigate risk across domains and processes before it results in bad customer and/or employee experience.
Communication: excellent verbal & written communication skills in englishWith a flair to instantly connect & establish a rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
Attributes expected: proactive, adhere to timelines & commitments, ability to deliver under pressure, quick thinker, adaptable, accountable, confident, assertive yet sensitive, someone who challenges the status quo and is a go getter, a problem resolver and a quick decision maker
Must have: good working knowledge of excel, power point, ms word, outlook, zoom/ms teams
Exposure & understanding to iso, cmmi level standards applicable within the ites industry would be preferred
Any one certification on lean/six sigma/project management/agile would be valued
Qualifications
Graduate in any stream and post graduate from a reputed institute
Any one certification on lean/six sigma/project management/agile would be valued
Additional information
Experience in shipping and logistic industry with experience in f&a/backoffice/invoicing processes
