We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled and motivated senior consultant to join wtw’s award winning climate and resilience hub (crh) and lead our growing team and business in the south asiaYou will help institutions evaluate and implement their pathways to a resilient, just and net zero transition drawing upon wtw’s extensive climate-related capabilities across risk, capital and people solutionsPublic and development sector clients represent and significant proportion of the portfolio augmented by a growing needs from corporate and financial sectors in response to regulatory and investor demandsYou will contribute to the development of crh global programmes and strategy and the development of the extensive wtw business platform in south asia.
The role
Ownership & accountability to develop crh’s strategy and business for the south east asia region and leadership of the crh south asia consuliting and business development team.
Lead & develop client relationships and projects and undertake high-quality commissions for clients
Manage delivery of complex assignments and tasks and ensure the highest-quality standards for materials such as qualitative and quantitative analysis, written documents and presentations to short deadlines.
Design and facilitate capacity-building events (online and/or in-person)
Coordinate inputs from co-workers and external contractors (international and local consultants) to deliver our services on time and consistent with our quality standards
Take a leading role in business development identifying opportunities, leading proposal writing, and contributing to the delivery of winning bids and other related activities, with a focus on south east asia
Develop, maintain, coordinate and facilitate strong relationships and good communications with business partners, clients, and team members
Communicate research findings effectively to clients and to the general public, to ensure diffusion and take-up of such findings
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and skill building across the organization based on projects’ identified best practices
The requirements
Educated to masters level in economics, international development, political science or a closely related field (holding a phd is an strong asset)
Proven experience providing advisory services on climate resilience, including with international financial institutions, multilateral development banks and/or technical cooperation partners
Excellent knowledge and experience in integrating climate change considerations into governance and risk management systems in public entities, including financial institutions
Very good knowledge of and experience in assessing and managing climate physical risks.
Proven project coordination skills and experience as team leader
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate methods, results and recommendations from complex analysis to expert and non-technical audiences
Professionalism, enthusiasm for working as the leader of a team, and ability to interact with a diverse group of people
Respect for your fellow colleagues and a deep commitment to the mission and values of the climate and resilience hub of willis towers watson
A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience on climate resilience with a string tracj record in the south east asia region
International travel will be required occasionally
Language
Fluency in english is required.
Fluency in another european language is highly desirable, in particular, spanish, italian, french or portuguese.
