The Role: Senior Electrical Engineer at Vadodara India Technology Center. The ideal candidate will provide Electrical power panel, control Panel and Instrument detail engineering, equipment selection and layout preparation throughout the project execution and product localization. Work closely with other development engineers, product and project managers, and other testing departments throughout project execution and product localization.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

· Participate in Electrical & control product development: preparation of related calculation, specifications, selection, design, analysis and recommendations for development of new products as per IEC, CE & UL standards.

· Preparation of electrical schematics drawing for water and waste water application (related to UV Product line, control panels etc.)

· BOQ, part number and discerption preparation from electrical schematic.

· Cost estimation for new and engineered to order control panels

· Hence on experience on Transformer calculation & selection.

· Basic Knowledge on the operation of the IGBT base converter.

· Experience on the Busbar, DG, APFC sizing calculation.

· Preparation of compliance statement for electrical, control and automation

· Submittal preparation up on request for Electrical panels.

· Remotely support customers/ assembly teams on installation /start-up

· Preparation of FAT and SAT protocols

· Support and resolve product field issues

· Ability to study of selection documents and extract scope of work for projects.

· Ability to understand P&ID.

· Work closely with global engineers, product and project managers to develop products and to develop test procedures and test cases for final validation.

· Estimating task execution time and ensuring on-time delivery of work with quality.

· Keep well informed of new features and products/services. Be proactive in understanding product/service roadmaps and the implications of new features with peer engineers or self-training.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

· Engineering Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering

· Minimum 4-5 years of experience in control panel MCC and PLC panel design

· Good knowledge in Design and development of Electrical and Control Systems from process description and P&ID.

· Good knowledge in E-Plan Electric & Electrical CAD.

· Minimum 2 years of hence on experience required on E-plan electrical software.

· Having an experience to create to customize library & blocks on E-Plan software.

· Good knowledge in motor and pump protection relays & Starters.

· Good knowledge low voltage switchgear and control products and their selection.

· Good knowledge of PLC and other automation controller wiring, panel cooling requirement etc .

· Experience in working / configuration of Power Electronics (Drives, Motors, Electrical systems)

· Knowledge of various regulatory standards – CE / UL / IEC etc.,

· Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive

· goals and high quality standard

· Must be team focused, excellent communicator and collaborative and have demonstrated

· experience working with cross functional teams
