Human resources associate – payroll
We seek an experienced payroll professional to join our talent architecture & total rewards team in our new delhi, india officeThis individual will report directly to the global payroll manager and play a key role in administration of compensation programs for employees and manage end to end payroll processing for europe, including the annual raise and bonus review processesThis role will routinely work in managing a variety of projects including eu compliance, taxation, audits, reconciliation, vendor management, preparing monthly and year end reports and offering compensation best practices.
Responsibilities:
Manage end to end payroll processing for european (6 locations) and expat employees;
Handle employee queries and resolutions for payroll;
Lead employee onboarding sessions;
Liaison with tax authorities and social security office contacts;
Managing external parties for pension, insurance & brokers on day to day basis;
Coordinating with internal hr generalist on day to day basis and with tax consultants (deloitte, rsm) for complicated tax related issues;
Manage payroll & compliance audits on periodic basis;
Year-end tax adjustment reconciliations with vendors;
Standardize communication within the team for external and internal stakeholders according to data privacy laws, adhering to ccpa & gdpr laws;
Timely updating the sops based on amendments in local laws;
Month end/year-end reporting to senior management for payroll cost variance analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree required in a relevant field;
At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience in compensation analysis and administration in europe;
Knowledge of microsoft office suite (word, excel, powerpoint) and other payroll software will be preferred;
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment;
Knowledge of european compliances related to payroll;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with a sensitivity to confidentiality;
Strong analytic skills/comfort in data analysis, including advanced ms excel modeling & data manipulation skills and ability to manage reports & dashboards;
Strong controls around data quality and validation;
Experience working in a global professional services environment highly preferred;
Experience in managing payroll vendor management;
Fluency in speaking or understanding german or spanish will be an added advantage;
Experience working in apac locations will be an added advantage.
