Your Role and Responsibilities
As Windows Administrator, you are responsible for installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery, and performance tuning with proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Windows Operating Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor server’s parameters & system performance using the tools
• Monitor critical services related to operating systems
• Ensure availability and performance of the server infrastructure systems
• Share weekly performance and capacity management reports
• Implement changes Incident, Problem, Change, Patch Management
• Create, modify and delete login scripts, user groups, users and user properties, network shares
• Assign and maintain user access rights as per policies defined and agreed upon with the Customer
• Configure and maintain print servers and print queues.
• Maintain and administer DNS, DHCP, NFS, NIS, DFS roots, and group policy
• Restore server operating system in the event of a crash using backup tools
• Resolve server problems like system hang, hard disk crash, with OEM support wherever required
• Create new file systems and correct file system inconsistencies as and when required.
• Perform Day to Day House Keeping tasks by using tools & scripts
• Perform periodic system performance tuning as per Customer’s policy
• Perform periodic schedule maintenance activity including, if required, restart of the systems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Relevant experience in Windows System Administration knowledge
• Experiences in Active Directory (at least one resource)
• Basic Security knowledge like vulnerabilities scan, patching, antivirus
• Proven communication in English
• Basic computer network understanding
• Experience in Scripting
• Any middleware knowledge is a plus (Apache, SSH, DBMS, etc)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• This role will require you to be hands on technical.
• This role will require you work both as individual contributor or in a team of experienced Application Server Administrators and support 24X7X365 operations, as the requirement may be.
• Administer, monitor, troubleshoot application server configuration and performance.
• Timely security patching and applying support fixes as required.
• Role management and User administration.
• Space administration on application servers.
• At least 2 years of experience in automation (ansible/shell, Perl/python).
