Job description

Skills, Duties & Responsibilities::

• 4+ years of hands-on professional experience as MS SQL Server Administrator.
• Professional degree, certifications and should be passionate in SQL Server.
• Build, Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Manage SQL Server databases & environments, from development to production systems.
• Conduct periodic reviews on the activities and recommends suitable process improvements
• Controls privileges and permissions to database users
• Collaborate with developers in tuning queries for better performance.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release / ad-hoc deployment activities after regular business hours.
• Establish and maintain MS SQL database architecture best practices, including procedures, and relevant documentation for all activities
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies.
• Should be able to work independently to troubleshoot issues, provide resolution and prepare RCA documents.
• Experience in configuring & managing HA & DR for SQL Server environments.
• Experience with Performance Tuning using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Use tools for database tuning. Generate traces, execution plans, identify performance issues, deadlocks/contention and resolve them.
• Develop strategies and implement solutions for managing back-ups, restoration and replication.
• Coordinating upgrades of system software products to resolve any issues/conflicts.
• Coordinate & manage support activities and maintenance as required, part of the 24×7 operations support
• Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” positive attitude

Salary: ₹529,038.12 – ₹1,703,203.19 per year
