Maintain smooth operation of all the IT assets including coordination with network, software, desktop, end-users, and application Owners. Troubleshooting all types of hardware, software, and network LAN-related issue wherein providing good support for internal clients of the organizations. Proactively monitor asset and network performance, uptime, availability, and analyze logs/metrics. User Management- Allocating, Collecting, and Inventory Management (create, maintain, edit, and deletion) Handling the escalations from the internal and external customers. Installation of Windows OS, MS Office, Service Packs, software and Third Party Applications, etc. Installed & configured various Antivirus software as per the requirements. Working with vendors for purchasing/renting IT assets. Upgrade systems with new releases and models. Sharing the weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports. Coordinating with the HR team on basic admin-related tasks.
· Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
· Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
· Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
· Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
· Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
· Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
· Managing multiple cases at one time.
· Testing and evaluating new technologies.
· Trouble shooting of Desktop /Laptop /Printer Software & hardware support.
· Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to next level for resolution.
· Manage service requests, software installations, new Computer setups, upgrades, etc.
· Record incident updates & resolution details in the Help Desk tool.
· Installation of Microsoft windows /Office/Antivirus applications.
· Setup desktop/Laptop computers and peripherals and test Basic network connections.
· Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
· Desktops, laptops, printers- LAN/WAN connectivity.
· Knowledge on Router /Access Point Configurations.
· Knowledge on end user backup software (PST Back up/Profile Backup & Data backup).
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
· Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls.
· Maintain overall ownership of user’s issue & service ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
