Skill: Salesforce Administrator / Developer
Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Salesforce Developer and Administration Certifications (ADM 201, DEV 401/501) required.
Job location: India, with frequent travel to Patna, Bihar, & New Delhi required; remote work possible
Time: Part-time employment or consultancy; approx. 50% time; days/hrs flexible

Overview:
We are looking for a visionary, creative, and technically savvy Salesforce Administrator who can lead CorStone to harness the power of Salesforce to improve our programs. The Salesforce Administrator/Developer is critical to enabling organizational growth, streamlining processes and driving user adoption across multiple teams in India and Africa. Responsibilities:
This position will administer our Salesforce instance by performing a range of tasks, including:
Serve as the system administrator and trainer for over 200 users across three countries, including user account maintenance, creating and updating reports and dashboards, providing ongoing training/capacity building to staff and partners, and ensuring effective/efficient use of the platform
Perform all database management and improvement tasks, responding to program and CorStone staff needs, including making regular enhancements to the current Salesforce instance to improve user-friendliness and user adoption.
Implementation and maintenance of Salesforce customizations including configuration, custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder and validation rules.
Manage Salesforce ticket process and respond to any tickets that arise in a timely fashion, flagging issues that need specific training responses or higher-level management input to resolve.
Complete regular internal system audits, prepare for upgrades, inform users of upcoming system changes that may affect current database operations, and manage all upgrade processes and user support during them.
Put in place systems and processes for regular data quality checks and repair and manage that system.
Guide organizational decisions around utilizing technology to improve reporting and to ensure high quality data.
Evaluate, test, and integrate any required third party apps that extend salesforce functionality.
Identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to CIF leadership; design and deploy custom solutions when necessary.
Perform user acceptance testing for key projects and critical enhancement.

Required Skills:
Full knowledge and understanding of Salesforce best practices and architecture, and how it integrates with other systems
Experience in Salesforce Community Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning
Experience and knowledge of Lightning Design System
Experience with Salesforce development, administration, system integrations, and bug fixes.
Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of complexity
Ability to design/implement excellent solutions that solve observed problems
Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
Ability to assess impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream/downstream applications, systems, processes impacted
Data management, organization, & analysis abilities
Ability to meet deadlines, handle, & prioritize simultaneous requests
Ability to explain complex database environment to end users in everyday or non-technical language
Patience, positive attitude, humility, and willingness to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization

Required Experience:
4+ years experience as Salesforce administrator and/or developer
Experience with Salesforce platform configuration and customization
Experience gathering Salesforce requirements & running Discovery Workshops
Experience administering a complex Salesforce org independently, using best practices
Ability to design and implement new processes and drive user adoption of those new processes
Ability to drive user adoption and bring new users up to speed on SF platforms
Experience in configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com functionality

Preferred Experience:
Experience providing internal support in NGOs/nonprofits
Experience working with government partners.
Experience training users and creating Salesforce help lessons
Experience with front end languages and backend tools for web engineering (Apex, Triggers, DataLoader, Visualforce, Lightning Framework, API’s JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS).
